Main activities and responsibilities:
* Recent project: Guidance of three students' BSc graduation project on "Adaptive Structures" (8 weeks of research, combined with building), together with organization of a final presentation with Theo Jansen as a speaker. He is a dutch artist who developed animals from plastic piping for 20 years, which are adaptive structures in a way.
* Main stimulator of the 'Structural Design Lab', an initiative to create a framework for education, research and extracurriculair activities on "special structures" amd a base for colaboration between graduating students in this field.
* Development of educational methods in Structural Engineering courses
* Teaching of structural design and engineering to 3rd year students
* Network and computer system administration of the group of Structural Engineering
